Welcome to Lost in Translation, a grantsmanship curriculum offered by Soul to Soul Leadership LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a course, or accessing any content on our platform, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

1. ACCOUNT AND ACCESS

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. Your account is personal to you and may not be shared with or transferred to others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

2. COURSE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All course materials, including video modules, companion workbooks, frameworks, exercises, checklists, and written content, are the intellectual property of Lisa Carter-Bawa and Soul to Soul Leadership LLC. These materials are provided for your individual scholarly and professional use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, share, upload, or adapt any course materials without prior written permission. Unauthorized distribution may result in account termination and legal action.

3. PERMITTED USE

You may access and use course materials for your own learning and professional development, including applying the frameworks and exercises to your own grant applications. You may not use course materials to create competing products, training programs, or derivative works. Institutional or group use requires a separate institutional license agreement.

4. PAYMENT AND PRICING

Prices are listed on the course enrollment page and are subject to change. If you purchase using a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments. Failure to complete payment plan installments may result in suspension of course access until payment is resolved. All prices are in US dollars.

5. REFUND POLICY

We stand behind the quality of this curriculum. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 30 days of your original purchase date, provided you have accessed no more than two (2) modules of the course. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your name, the email address associated with your account, and a brief explanation of why the course did not meet your expectations.

Refund requests received after 30 days, or from accounts that have accessed more than two modules, will not be honored. Payment plan purchases are eligible for refund under the same conditions; any installments already paid will be refunded, and remaining installments will be canceled. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval.

6. DISCLAIMER

This course provides educational content about NIH grant writing. It does not guarantee funding outcomes. Grant success depends on many factors beyond the scope of any training program, including the strength of the underlying science, the composition of the review panel, and NIH funding priorities. We make no representations or warranties regarding specific funding results.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soul to Soul Leadership LLC and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this course or platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be resolved in the courts of the State of New Jersey.
